Main cloister is worth it, although I have missed some decoration of tapestry paintings etc. as in other paradores

Pool facilities with garden are great. Building and room were very good. Service in bar area less so. Restaurant average.

Our 3rd Stay at the Wonderfull Paradore de Trujillo. Excellent Hotel. All Staff, Friendly & Accommodating in every Way. The Rooms are all Lovely, Comfortable & Very Clean We shall return again soon. We cannot recommend this Hotel enough.Trujillo is a Beautiful Town with Much History to Explore.

This parador is certainly not the most beautiful parador (but the town is superb) but very good and comfortable. What really stood out was the service, at front desk, at breakfast and in the (excellent) restaurant. Efficient, polite and professional. Perfect thus.

Would have liked to stay here being a member of the Amigos but unfortunately they were fully booked. We did however make a reservation to dine in the parador's restaurant which was very good--we had their regional cuisine and wine both of which were thoroughly enjoyable as was the beautiful century old parador.

The location of the parador was excellent for visiting the city. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we slept well. We would definitely stay here again.

A good Parador with friendly and helpful staff. However you could sense and see that the staff were under pressure due to lack of staffing ie only one man to manage bar duty, laying of tables for the evening including for three large groups, and clearing away empty glasses etc.. at breakfast we had a similar experience - this did not bode well for a tranquil stay. As we said the staff were very friendly and helpful even under this pressure and cannot be faulted. Our room was spacious and had a seperate lounge area complete with tea and coffee making facilities, car parking was onsite, and the town centre was just a few minutes walk away with many restaurants etc.
